I am an Edinburgh based Wedding and Portrait Photographer, specialising in providing bespoke wedding and portrait photography packages, producing high quality wedding and portrait photography in a budget based format, to couples and families throughout Scotland and the UK.
I am also a commercially published property and community photographer.
Having worked and studied photography extensively as a professional freelance photographer during the past ten years, I have chosen to settle in Edinburgh and specialise in wedding and portrait photography, a career I find thoroughly enjoyable, inspiring and rewarding.
I thoroughly enjoy working with brides and grooms, mums and dads, sons and daughters and all the loved ones that cross their paths. I aim to provide a service which provides natural, relaxed and real wedding and portrait photography, portraying people’s lives and relationships in a manner in which is neither invasive nor obtrusive. I do this in an affordable, budget based way to establish a comfortable honest approach from both in front of and behind the lens.
My style is mainly reportage, storybook photography, on location although I do have portable studio photography equipment which I can bring along to your home for a simpler option if you wish. This is especially good with new-born and baby photography.
The creative process for me begins with each couple or family and their characters, idiosyncrasies’ and personalities. Getting to know you through meetings, both formally and informally, at your home and/or your chosen venue, I discover how best to capture and present your day, the relationships of those involved and the emotion of the most special moments, in the perfect wedding album package.
My photography couples high quality contemporary reportage and spontaneous images with a more traditional style where appropriate to produce the right set of photographs for each special occasion, to be cherished for years to come. Allowing a flexibility in options when it comes to not only the needs of the bride and groom but for those most important to them.
Consistent with this is the range of package options I provide, inclusive of package price or available to add-on as part of an a la carte ‘build your own package’ menu, are options suchlike:

I pride myself on providing high quality wedding and portrait photography in the most modern, comfortable and personable way to the people of Edinburgh, the surrounding areas and Glasgow. I only take one photography booking per day in order to ensure that my time is focused and spent with you and on your photography.
I do not believe that people should have to pay hidden or extensive extra fees when booking a wedding or portrait photographer that they really like and therefore have an honest and open way of managing my packages, to allow people the freedom to fit the service I provide with the budget they have.
I tailor all my photography price packages to suit the individual needs of the couple or family and will gladly provide no obligation quotes on request.
